Party in the Park at Coppell’s Andrew Brown Park East
Saturday, June 29 from 6:00 – 10:30 pm
Coppell celebrates Independence Day with one of the biggest FREE family-friendly events in DFW! Enjoy live music, lawn games, a drone show, fireworks and delicious food at Coppell’s Party in the Park.
Journey tribute band, ESCAPE, will welcome everyone, followed by the Taylor Pace Orchestra featuring popular dance hits with a jazzy flair. A 200-piece drone show will begin at approximately 9:30 pm with an 18-minute firework show to follow at approximately 9:45 pm. Taylor Pace Orchestra will take the stage for another half hour following the fireworks to conclude the fun and sing everyone home!
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks. Vendors accept cash and all major credit cards. Bring-your-own picnics are also welcome.
Parking
Free parking is located throughout the city. For those who are able, walking is encouraged. Attendees may access the event site via walking trail, from both Andrew Brown Central and Andrew Brown West, as well as Coppell High School to the west, and from the north across the Denton Creek Bridge. Passenger drop-off is located at The CORE, 234 E. Parkway Blvd. Accessible parking is available at Andrew Brown Park East, 260 E. Parkway Blvd.
Permitted Items
- Strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids
- Blankets and collapsible lawn chairs
- Bags and backpacks (may be subject to search by law enforcement)
- Sunscreen and bug spray
- Soft-sided coolers
Prohibited Items
- Pop-up tents, and other large items that may inhibit views
- Personal golf carts and other unauthorized vehicles
Dogs
Due to the nature of the event, it is recommended that you leave any non-service animals at home. High temperatures and loud fireworks cause high levels of anxiety and stress for dogs. If you decide to bring your dog, they must remain on a leash at all times, and owners are required to pick up pet waste.
Safety & Security
The City of Coppell Police Department provides on-site security and monitors the park grounds throughout the event. Please keep personal belongings with you at all times. Should you and your child become separated during the event, a Lost Child station will be located at the First Aid truck on the west side of the lawn.
Event Photography
Video surveillance cameras are used throughout Andrew Brown Park. The City of Coppell will have photographers on-site taking photos of the event. Attendees may appear in future event marketing.
